Our Ensemble will have all day rehearsals (9 AM to 3 PM) on Tuesday, 12/4 and Monday, 12/17. Ensemble students should report to their classrooms first at 8:45 AM and will be dismissed from their classrooms at 3:15 PM. Please remember to bring a sack lunch to school with you for the all day rehearsals. Also, tickets for our Winter Show will go on sale Wednesday, 12/5 at 7:30 am for our Ensemble families.

Hour of Code
We live in a world surrounded by technology. We know whatever field our children choose to go into as adults, their ability to succeed will increasingly hinge on understanding how technology works. Because of this, we are encouraging our students to participate in the largest learning event in history: The Hour of Code, during Computer Science Education Week (Dec. 3-9). If you would like to give coding a try with you child, please visit Code.org. You and your child can check out the Minecraft, Star Wars, Dance Party and Frozen coding activities! Enjoy!
We will hold tryouts for Boys’ Basketball team this week. , Tryouts will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday this week after school. Boys in grades 4-6 are eligible to tryout. Students should bring a permission slip, water, and tennis shoes to tryouts.
Our monthly ELAC meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 6th at 8:15 am in the MPR. The main topic of our meeting will be how to support your child with math at home. We encourage all parents of Language Learners to attend. Please join us!
MILITARY CARE PACKAGES

Given our new traffic patterns at Hedenkamp, we would like to recruit parents to volunteer during drop off and pick up times. We would love to have volunteers to help in our drop off and pick up zones. If you would like to volunteer for our safety team, please let us know.
